Packfest..!

We leave today for the Shook homeland (Amsterdam, Netherlands) at three this afternoon.  In typical Shook style, we have waited till the last minute to pack, deciding to go to Barnes and Nobles and Target yesterday instead.  Nothing can beat last summer's preparation, though, when Dad and Sarah had to buy luggage and go to the passport office, THE DAY they were leaving.  So maybe we are getting better at this whole being prepared and packing thing...

I once heard that the experienced traveller packs light.  We would consider ourselves fairly well travelled, having been to over 25 countries between the two of us.  However, we both agreed that the traveller who packs light is not experienced, but rather, UNDERPREPARED! I mean, you never know when you will need that baby tide stick or which of your six pairs of jeans you will want to wear on any given day.  Some call it overpacked, but we like to call it "prepared for anything."

We leave you with a glimpse of our stressful, yet glorious, PACKFEST!
